Plus I’m probably a few lbs lighter just in the dirt and mold I was able to get out of the wing lockers lol.

Gained a few knots and had to bring back the rpm’s to keep my cruise in the green haha. I have been dealing with a vibration issue with that 2 blade prop and decided to swap it out for a 3 blade. Pitched it for 3.5. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a dynamic balance scheduled soon to make it perfect, but it’s way better already. I'll bet it's because the two bladed prop was never dynamically balanced. Many people don't have their prop balanced and it will definitely make a huge difference. I used to think my 3 blade Woodcomp was smooth until I had a friend of mine hook it up to his fancy Dynavibe prop balancer. Wow, what a difference a balanced prop makes. I was blown away how much smoother my prop was.

Really looking forward to finding out soon. Also thought it was a bit strange that the previous owner had screws of 3 different lengths holding on the spinner cone for the 2 blade. All in all though, that prop is still in pretty good shape. What do you guys think it’s worth? I believe I saw they are about $1850 new on the sensenich site. WiLSA
Its amazing what a new prop will do! When I had my same 3 blade replaced (mfg error on original), it was amazing how different the vibrations, rpms, etc felt on the new one. I think it was pitched the same, but just had a different, and much better and smoother feel.

Great to read that you too experienced positive results with the ceramic coating! 👍🏻😁 It also makes our aircraft much easier to clean, and helps with the gloss of the finish. 6 hours ago, Toryn said: I have been dealing with a vibration issue with that 2 blade prop and decided to swap it out for a 3 blade. I will admit that I'm quite happy with mine, but have not done a Prop Balancing on it yet. (Need to find someone nearby that can do it.) Admittedly I am interested in trying out the Duc Hellices prop, but have not had any spare cash (is there such a thing?) to acquire one. Plus a GNC255 is calling my name lately... Not sure of resale value, but maybe try $1,200? The Sensenitch props do not have a time condition and I believe some of the Flight Design aircraft used them as well. May be worth posting on that forum or on Barnstormers?
