Note that with the new rules effective 12/2/2024, a CFI WILL be able to perform flight training and charge for Pilot Flight Instruction using an Experimental E-LSA for the training.

I contacted Carol Carpenter, of Rainbow Aviation, and asked he about the upcoming changes for the LSR certificates.   She claimed that the current discussions are about requirements for future certificates, and that current certificate holders are "grandfathered" with their certifications.

Good to know Leo, thanks. That's the only new rule that concerns me as none of the other rules matter to my mission or my flying habits.

On the positive note, I would certainly love to upgrade to an in-flight adjustable prop!

It would be cool but I'm not sure the benefit would outweigh the cost. Those damn things aren't cheap and you know I'm thrifty. :D

The dollar cost per knot would scare me away. :o
