  1. Indeed , sad story - similar to that Arion Lightning that got busted while landing at Oshkosh just before being put up for sale ... Man I am truly impressed with your insider knowledge... either pretty much 90% of all LSAs for sale are within 90 mile radius of your location or you got some incredible contacts out there ... I wonder if there is some dark past history associated with my N184WA Sting S4, that you may know about 🙂
  2. All LSAs do bounce around , even more than C-152 - there is no getting around that , it is a function of weight.
  3. I would suggest taking look at the new Aeroprakt Vixxen A32 . http://www.aeropraktusa.com/a32-vixxen.html http://www.aeropraktusa.com/new-pre-owned.html You can get a new one for about 130k with everything and sugar on top and still end up at 100 lbs more useful weight than a SportCruiser (empty weight at 740lbs) Lovely plane , awesome visibility and 48 inches wide cabin - I would have probably gotten one but back in 2017 , when I was in the market for a LSA, only their older A22 was available in the US. A few relevant videos.
  4. My understanding is that Ducati issues are really engine compartment heat issues - there are lots of LSAs ( including mine ) that are on the original rectifier without any problems ...
  5. There is a certain serene charm to flying with that white stuff all around you ... and the density altitude makes it feel like you are almost flying a Cirrus ( almost ..)
  6. Well, I guess the only thing left to do is move Oshkosh down to Florida somewhere ...if that happens , I am out of here .. I guess the only thing keeping me here is that negative 2000 density altitude we get here at times - makes for some fine flying.
  7. It seems like everybody is either based in Florida or heading there ... what’s up with that ?
