Some ideas on how to make our SCFLIER Forum more efficient and easy to use

1. Before you post a question or a new way cool idea on the SCFLIER SportCruiser forum,  PLEASE use the “Search Icon” at the top right Makn SCFLIER screen to see if the topic or idea has already been addressed here.  Add your question or ideas to this string..
2. Please try and keep the forum organized.  If your topic belongs in Rotax Engines,  go to that “chapter” of the forum,  click on Rotax engine,  and scroll down to see if your particular topic already has a higher level posting existing.  Then add your idea or question to the end of that discussion.
3. We can reduce overall memory size of the forum if we use “high enough” resolution pictures,  but not “TOO HIGH “ resolution that uses a LOT of memory on the website.   A free program called irfanview (and others) allows one to “Re-size” the original picture down to a limit of,  for example, 500 Kbytes providing a balance of good displayed resolution and picture size.
4. .if you want to use an already existing SCFLIER Forum picture , the steps and pics below show how to get the SCFLIER FORUM LINK to the first ORIGINAL  picture and insert it in a new post without using additional memory:

Here is the original picture that I want to COPY A LINK FOR,  and reuse this same photo (and memory) somewhere else on the forum

 

 

Click on the center of the picture itself 

The picture will now appear at

the top Of your iPad or iPhome screen  

 

 

 

On an iPad or iPhone, click again with the “up arrow” and select

send to “MAiL”

Optioms shown on this iPhone iPad screen below include

      Send to Text, E Mail, …

In this example,  sending the pic to E MAIL,  and one can set up to copy the

SCFLIER picture link

      ,,, ending in .jpeg

 

 

Now you will have a choice to “send to an email”  or,  what you want to do now is “cancel” sending this to email - and you will end up “deleting draft” since you just want the SCFLIER LINK to the picture you selected. …

 

 

 

Delete the draft email by

“Delete Draft”

 

 

Now insert the copied  SCFLIER picture Link in your new SCFLIER post,  and click at the end of the link - typically at the end of the …. XYZ.jpeg

and SAVE YOUR NEW POST WITJ THE PICTURE ADDED IN TO YOUR New POST,  wkthout using any more memory from our website
